I love my kitchen aid mixer. It has made my life so much easier. I use it mainly for baking purposes. You can also use them for many different cooking purposes. You can get an amazing amount of attachments for the kitchen aid mixer. You can get a pasta attachment, meat grinder, and many more. For me, it is easier to whip or mix many things instead of doing it by hand. After a while, my arm gets tired and I typically wouldn't get everything made that I would want to make. With my kitchen aid mixer, life has become much more easier.

Turkey
There is just something about that wonderful smell filling up your house when you have a turkey in the oven. I often find myself wondering why I only do it twice a year. I love turkey. But, the baking of a turkey has always made me think of friends and family gathering for a great meal. Today, my husband and I did a very simple turkey. We simply covered the inside and out with butter, salt, and pepper. Bake on 350 degrees for about 3 1/2 to 4 hours, depending on how big your turkey is and how long it takes to fully cook. The core temperature should reach 165 degrees. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Cookies
I love many kinds of cookies. Today I am making butter cookies, sugar cookies, and chocolate chip cookies. Like most everyone growing up, I also ate the cookie dough. And I still do! It is the best part of making home made cookies. When I was a kid, I did not fully understand the hazards that came along with eating raw eggs. My mother used to tell me not to eat the cookie dough because it had raw eggs in it. Knowing now the hazards of eating raw eggs, yes I am guilty of still eating it.

Respect
The other day I was at Wendy's. The manager had a handicap. He was clearly the best suited for the job. He was looking for an employee that was late coming back from break. When he found her, he had told her that she was late and that she needed to get back to work. The young lady was rude to him. She rolled her eyes at him and slowly walked back to work. She didn't have any response to him. I am unsure if she lacked respect towards him because of his handicap or simply because she just did not get along with him. As a customer, I automatically assumed it was because he had a handicap. Little does she probably know, that his handicap did not earn him the right for a manager position, but he himself had earned that position. Just as every other manager in any field.

Pizza
Growing up in a small town, there weren't many pizza options. Just your typical Pizza Hut and frozen pizza from the store. Moving to a much bigger community, it promises many kinds of pizzas. Different shapes, sizes, and many different slices. Over time, I have grown out of my Pizza Hut ways and have branched out for other types of pizza. Tonight I shall have Imo's once again.

Deer Meat
As a family living in the country, deer season was a huge event during the year. My parents would go hunting every chance they could. My siblings and I were always excited for these moments. We used to eat venison like some people eat chicken. I catch myself from time to time remembering the way my mother would cook venison. I loved the taste. So, while at my brother's for the weekend, he talked me into cooking his venison for him. I tried to cook it just like my mother used to. Needless to say, I could definitely enjoy trying to perfect it.
